We had the extreme pleasure of producing a 32 minute photo montage (or “slideshow” as many people call it) for the grandparents of one of our recent brides. We projected the production on our big screen at the VFW in Federalsburg, Maryland.
Sue and Gerald were married on November 14, 1959. Their three children asked us to produce the montage which was comprised of over 300 photos, and lots of their favorite music. Sue and Gerald’s eight grandchildren were featured for more than half of the video. We included family photos, as well as a couple of video clips from their granddaughter Ashlie’s wedding; e.g., Ashlie dancing with her grandfather. (See Ashlie and Lee.) Andrew Nock also provided us with some of Ashlie’s wedding photos.
After we showed the video, Sue and Gerald thanked everyone for coming. Sue stated that she had seen many videos through the years that she thought were really good, but realized now that those videos were nothing compared to the one we had just projected or her granddaughter’s wedding production. (We gave them a DVD of Ashlie’s wedding as an anniversary present. )
Thanks Diana, Keli, and Jerry for asking us to be a part of your parents’ anniversary celebration. And congratulations to Gerald and Sue!
